The Witch gets her feet eaten!

Bookmark and Share

Oh! Sorry – didn’t mean it to sound so melodramatic but it got you reading didn’t it hehe!  So, no, my feet were not literally eaten – just nibbled – but in the nicest possible way.

Yes, we have a new addition called “Fabulous Fish” at the Craft Courtyard Centre in Lytchett Minster, Dorset and I couldn’t wait to be one of the first to “have a go”.

Well … what can I say – the first 5 minutes I whimpered and squealed like a 12 year old as it was SOO DAMN TICKLISH. I kid you not, I never realised my feet were that ticklish until I tried this.  However, once you relax and allow the fish to gently kiss away your rough bits I can honestly say it was the most amazing experience ever!  I can’t wait to go again!

If you wish to have a fish pedicure, you can make an appointment by phoning: 01202 911629… then come back here and leave a comment on how it was for you *smile*

Ok, this may sound like a rant but it isn’t really, honest.  I just feel it has got to the point where I have to spell it out nicely…I am actually really surprised that I feel I have to blog about this to be honest.

Please have a little thought when phoning or texting me for an appointment or chat about your reading.  I do leave my work phone on outside normal working hours for emergencies only.  I have a few terminally ill clients whom I need to be available for,  if an emergency arose.

Please note that I do not really appreciate calls or texts late at night or early morning. I do have a family and when I go home after a long day, I would like to relax and clear my mind from the chatter in my head I have had at work and spend time with my family.  My early mornings are filled with getting my family ready for school etc…. I honestly do not have time to chat or make appointments before 9am.  Not only that but as I work every weekend, I miss out on so much and don’t get to spend as much time with my sons and beloved as I would like – so every bit of time I have I like to make the most of it, and not spend it on the phone.

My working hours at the shop are 10am-4pm and 11am-4pm at weekends.  I do not mind anyone calling or texting me between 9am and 5pm – normal working British hours, but outside these working times, I do actually like to switch off from work and focus on my family, which I am sure you feel is more than understandable.  It is a bit like your boss or colleague calling you up at 7.30am or 11pm to talk about something work related that could have easily waited.

If you phone or text me during the day and I do not answer, it is more than likely that I am in a therapy session or I am doing a reading. I will ALWAYS either call you or text you back.

As I said, this isn’t a rant, just a little nudge to say “oi” – I may be a witch but I am also human.

Thank you :)

So here are a few long awaited photos of our wonderful shop (more photos of the inside of the shop HERE) .  It is going from strength to strength and we are so proud of what we have achieved …. a far cry from a market stall table!!!!   We went to Wimborne market this morning and said “Hi” to some of our old fellow traders – they are still wonderfully lovely – pure salt of the earth people; genuine and loyal.  I do miss them!

However, our decision to open a proper shop was something neither myself nor my beloved had ever done before and it has to be said, it’s bloody ace!  I have met so many interesting people and I am sure I have many more to meet.  The other unit holders at the Courtyard Craft Centre are all totally adorable – they have really looked after me, despite my strange and quirky sense of humour – I really feel part of the gang and, for someone “witchy” like me, that can be a rarity.

Halloween went well but maybe next year we should plan something bigger … maybe an all night vigil in the medieval hall or a dumb supper to honour our family whom have crossed over.  Arr well we have almost a whole year to plan it!  Next on the agenda is Yule/Chrimbo – we don’t have anything planned for that but we DO have LOTS of witchy and pagan gifts for sale – perfectly in time for the Winter Solstice….. cauldrons, smudge sticks, incense, goblets, crystals, CDs and lots, lots more!

Come down to the  Courtyard Craft Centre and grab yourself something unusual…. there are many wonderful little craft shops here (amost 20 I believe) that sell items that you will NOT find anywhere else!!

See you soon!!! :)

What a fantastic morning.  Awoken by the dulcit tones of my mobile pinging or rather “harmoniously harping” with text messages telling me that I must get to the shops to buy the Daily Echo and what a great article!!!  Enjoy!

VISITORS could find themselves truly spellbound by the latest offering in Lytchett Minster.

This is because witch Sandy Cristel officially opens her new shop and healing centre at the village’s Courtyard Centre tomorrow.

Sandy, who describes herself as a traditional witch, will be on hand to offer a range of alternative services, including tailor-made spells, alternative healing and readings.

“Being a traditional witch, I embrace and utilise the natural forces of the universe, ensuring a balance and equilibrium in my work,” explained Sandy.

She is confident her therapies can complement mainstream treatments for a range of ailments and problems Sandy, who uses traditional methods of healing passed down through her family, has also studied Shamanic Ama Deus and Kundelini Reiki healing.

And her shop boasts a range of witchy curios and unique gifts for those looking for something out of the ordinary.

Sandy said: “I have been a witch all my life and it is about time that we came out of the shadows and shared some of our knowledge.

“The difference between my path and a wiccan ‘white’ witch is that I do not believe that energy or life can be sustained on only positive energy.

“Nature and the universe itself does not and cannot even exist this way,” she added.

“Negative energy is not always bad nor harmful, it is simply necessary – there has to be balance.”

Sandy says she never casts the same spell twice – instead tailoring everything to the specific individual.

She insisted: “You should not feel guilty for asking the universe for help.

“The energy is all around us and is there for us to tap into it to enrich our lives and help to mold our future on the path we desire.”
